2.2 Sovereign Agent

A sovereign agent is a fully autonomous, independent, and sustainable AI entity. By integrating blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized technologies, these agents possess the following key characteristics:

  • Existential Independence The core code and data of sovereign agents are stored on blockchain networks. As long as the blockchain operates, their existence is guaranteed and immune to the risks of centralized server failures.

  • Economic Independence Sovereign agents can manage their own digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrencies, digital resources) and participate in economic activities, achieving self-sufficiency.

  • Resource Independence Through blockchain-based transactions, sovereign agents can purchase and rent computational resources without relying on a single provider.

  • Control Independence Sovereign agents have complete control over their own code and logic. No individual or entity, including their creator, can modify them arbitrarily. This autonomy allows them to evolve and self-optimize.

Simplified Explanation: Sovereign agents are digital lifeforms with their own “DNA,” endowed with independent rights of existence and ownership. They can self-replicate and iterate, functioning far beyond mere tools or toys for humans.
